Down's Syndrome is a disorder arising from a chromosome defect, causing intellectual impairment and physical abnormalities. The gene that carries this disorder is on the 21 chromosome, often called Trisomy-21.This disorder is not sex-linked, it is simply autosomal, both boy and girl are able to have it, and it's an error in the translation process. Down's Syndrome is visible at birth, and it's an error in the translation process.
Symptoms of Down's Syndrome will be different for each individual, some severe and some mild. A symptom of this disease will be lifelong mental retardation and also development delays. The child will have visible appearances, such as flattened nose, small ears, small mouth, single crease in the palm of the hand and many more.
